First-day and last-day opening times in Belfast
The first and last days of the Belfast Christmas Market are shorter than the same weekdays in the rest of its 2026 season:
| Day | Belfast Christmas Market |
|---|---|
| Sat 14 Nov 2026 (first day) | 12:00-22:00 |
| Tue 22 Dec 2026 (last day) | 10:00-18:00 |
On the opening Saturday the stalls start at 12:00 instead of 10:00 and close at the Saturday time of 22:00. On the closing Tuesday they open at 10:00 and shut at 18:00, two hours earlier than on other Tuesdays.
With the season over on 22 December, the City Hall market has no hours on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, 26 December, 31 December or 1 January 2027. Nothing else on the map has announced an opening on those days.
When the Belfast Christmas Markets open later or close early

Sunday hours are shorter: the market opens at 12:00, two hours after the Monday-to-Saturday start, and closes at 18:00.
Weather warnings have closed the market before. In 2024 it stayed shut on Saturday 7 December and reopened at 12:00 on Sunday 8 December.
