1. Hyde Park Winter Wonderland
Winter Wonderland takes over part of Hyde Park. Souvenir, craft, food and drink stalls sit next to the ice rink around the Victorian bandstand, beside a Scandi-themed market square, with the Giant Observation Wheel among the rides. An entry ticket for a booked date and time is required for every visitor. It opens daily from 19 November 2026 to 3 January 2027 and is closed on 25 December.

2. Leicester Square Christmas Market
In the West End, the Leicester Square site, with its Christmas Market stalls beside the rink, opens on 31 October 2026. Vintage chalets sell presents and traditional treats around the circular ice rink by the Shakespeare Water Fountain, and a seasonal bar serves hot chocolate and mulled drinks. No entry ticket is needed for the market stalls. The site opens daily until 3 January 2027 and is closed on 25 December.

3. Southbank Centre Winter Market
The Southbank Centre runs its Winter Market along the Queen's Walk under Hungerford Bridge, between the Royal Festival Hall and Jubilee Gardens, with the London Eye in view. Alpine-style chalets and pop-up bars serve winter street food and hot drinks, and independent traders sell crafts, jewellery, decorations and fashion. No entry ticket is needed on this public riverside walk, and the stalls take no cash. It runs from 2 November 2026 to 3 January 2027.

London Christmas Market food, market by market
London Christmas Market food leans on mulled wine (hot spiced wine), poured at The Christmas Tree Arms in Winter Wonderland, at Chelsea Winter Village, by Larch at the City of London market, at Fulham Palace and in Mayfair. Winter Wonderland also has chalet dinners in its Bavarian Village and a Street Food Village. On the Queen's Walk, the Southbank Centre Winter Market pairs winter street food with Dutch pancakes, churros and cookies, while its pop-up bars pour mulled wine, hot cider and hot chocolate. Leicester Square's seasonal bar serves hot chocolate and mulled drinks.
Kingston Christmas Market serves bratwurst (German sausage), hog roast, Dutch pancakes and Belgian waffles, German chocolate kisses, Yorkshire pudding wraps and pasta alla ruota, pasta tossed in a cheese wheel. Mayfair adds caviar, oysters and a sweet corner, and Chelsea Winter Village sets curated street food beside marshmallow fire-roasting.
The two church fairs in Rotherhithe bring Nordic food: pinnekjøtt (salted, dried lamb ribs), gløgg (Norwegian mulled wine) and fresh bakes at the Norwegian Christmas Fair, and Finnish food, snacks, drinks and pre-ordered baked goods at the Finnish Church. Payment varies: the Southbank Centre takes no cash, and most Kingston traders take cash and card, with card preferred.
Which London Christmas Markets are open in November, and which in December?
The Christmas Markets in London in November start before the month does: the Leicester Square site, with its Christmas Market stalls beside the rink, opens on 31 October, the Southbank Centre Winter Market on 2 November and Kingston on 12 November. The South Bank Sundays begin on 15 November, Winter Wonderland opens on 19 November and the Norwegian fair on 20 November, and St Martins, the City of London market, Chelsea Winter Village, Mayfair, Chelsea Physic Garden and the Finnish Church all open between 21 and 27 November.
Among the Christmas Markets in London in December, the short fairs gather on the early weekends, with Hampton Court Palace, Fulham Palace and the second Finnish Church weekend all between 4 and 6 December. Winter Wonderland, Leicester Square, Chelsea Winter Village and Kingston are closed on 25 December, and several keep different times on the other holiday days.
Among the markets with 2026 dates, Chelsea Winter Village runs until 28 December, while Winter Wonderland, Leicester Square, the Southbank Centre and Kingston stay open until 3 January 2027.
