The Christmas Markets on the map, numbered
Each numbered pin is one of the Christmas Markets in Budapest: pins 1, 2 and 3 in District V, pin 4 in Óbuda and pin 5 in Hegyvidék, and a grey pin marks a market waiting for its 2026 dates. The page on what is on at Advent Bazilika shows the light painting, the tree under a net of lights, the nativity scene and the Advent wreath; the Vörösmarty Classic Xmas programme shows the children's train, the tree and the craft and food exhibitors.
1. Advent Bazilika Christmas Market
Pin 1 sits on Szent István tér in District V, where the stalls fill the square in front of St Stephen's Basilica, 1.0 km east of the centre point of the map. A light painting is projected onto the Basilica façade every afternoon from 17:30, a reason to reach this square at dusk.
2. Vörösmarty Classic Xmas
Pin 2 marks Vörösmarty tér, Vörösmarty Square in English, in District V, 0.8 km east of the centre point. On the map, pin 1 lies to its north and pin 3 to its east, so the three District V pins form one close group within 1.1 km of the centre point.

3. Budapest Christmas Market at Városháza Park
Pin 3 covers Városháza Park and Deák tér in District V, 1.1 km east of the centre point. The fair on this site ran from 14 November 2025 to 10 January 2026. The pin is grey, as the market is waiting for its 2026 dates.

4. Advent in Óbuda
Pin 4 lies 4.8 km north of the centre point, in Óbuda, District III, where the 2025 market spread over Fő tér and Szentlélek tér from 28 November to 23 December 2025. Grey on the map, it is waiting for its 2026 dates.

5. Advent in Hegyvidék
Pin 5 stands on Városháza tér, Böszörményi út, District XII, in front of the Hegyvidék town hall, 1.9 km west of the centre point. The square held the market from 28 November to 23 December 2025; the grey pin is waiting for its 2026 dates.

The PDF prints on two A4 pages. Page 1 carries the numbered map with a legend giving the district of each market and the 2026 dates of pins 1 and 2, with pins 3, 4 and 5 marked as pending. Page 2 holds one entry per market in map order: address, dates, weekly hours, the hours on the Christmas and New Year days, highlights, food and type, wherever these are announced. In English, 0.9 MB. Edition: October 2026.
How to get between the Christmas Markets in Budapest
Three pins sit close together in District V, on the Pest side of the Danube: Advent Bazilika Christmas Market (1), Vörösmarty Classic Xmas (2) and Budapest Christmas Market at Városháza Park (3). Pin 1 is 0.5 km from pin 2, and pin 2 is 0.4 km from pin 3.
Away from that group, the map of the Budapest Christmas Markets shows two more sites. Advent in Óbuda (4) lies 4.8 km north of the centre point and 5.0 km from pin 3. Advent in Hegyvidék (5) is 1.9 km west of the centre point, in Buda, and 5.8 km from pin 4.
Distances between pins are straight lines, not walking routes.
