What the numbers on the Liverpool Christmas Market map mean
The map of the Liverpool Christmas Markets carries four numbered pins: three close together in the city centre and one in Calderstones Park, south Liverpool. Stalls, attractions and 2026 dates for each are covered under the Liverpool Christmas Markets.
1. Liverpool Christmas Market
Pin 1 marks St George's Plateau in the city centre, next to St George's Hall and directly across from Lime Street station. Its postal address is St George's Place, Liverpool L1 1JJ. On the map, the pin sits 0.8 km east of the centre point, in the same direction as pin 3 on Basnett Street.

2. Liverpool Christmas Wonderland
Pin 2 stands at Pier Head, the waterfront space beside the Mersey Ferry terminal; the Three Graces rise at the back of the covered ice rink, and the Mersey is a few steps away. The site goes by the address Pier Head, Liverpool, and the pin lies 0.4 km south-west of the centre point of the map.

3. Basnett Street Artisan Market
Pin 3 marks Basnett Street, a pedestrian street in the city centre with the postcode L1 1ED. Church Street meets it at one end and Williamson Square at the other, and the market sets up in the street itself. The pin is 0.6 km east of the centre point.

4. Makers at the Mansion
Pin 4 is Calderstones Mansion House, with its garden, inside Calderstones Park in the south of Liverpool, postcode L18 3JB. The stalls spread through the mansion and the garden, so the market runs indoors and outdoors. At 7.2 km south-east of the centre point, it lies outside the map frame and shows as an arrow chip on its edge.

Getting between the Liverpool Christmas Markets
On the map, the three city-centre markets lie close to one another, with distances taken in a straight line rather than along walking routes: St George's Plateau (1) is 1.2 km from Pier Head (2), and Pier Head is 0.9 km from Basnett Street (3). Seen from the centre point, Pier Head lies 0.4 km south-west, Basnett Street 0.6 km east and St George's Plateau 0.8 km east.
Makers at the Mansion (4) sits apart in Calderstones Park, south Liverpool: 7.2 km south-east of the centre point and, measured straight, 6.6 km from Basnett Street (3), outside the frame of the map.
