What date do the Colmar Christmas Markets open?

All six markets on the map open on Monday 23 November 2026. Markets 1 to 5 close on Tuesday 29 December 2026, and the Gourmet Market (6) on Sunday 3 January 2027.

The Colmar tourist office organises all six, and none of them opens in stages. Place des Dominicains Christmas Market (1), Place de l'Ancienne Douane Christmas Market (2), Place Jeanne d'Arc Christmas Market (3), Petite Venise Children's Christmas Market (4), Koïfhus Handcraft Christmas Market (5) and Gourmet Market (6) all start on the same Monday. No market has a later start in November, and none starts in December.

The two closing dates differ. Markets 1 to 5 share one last day, Tuesday 29 December 2026, while the Gourmet Market, beside the Ferris wheel on the Montagne Verte, stays on into the new year until Sunday 3 January 2027. That Ferris wheel has the same end date.

The Gourmet Market (6) carries on past New Year's Eve, Thursday 31 December, and through New Year's Day, and ends on Sunday 3 January 2027. The Ferris wheel at its foot keeps the same end date and remains a paid ride.
