1. Helsinki Christmas Market
Pin 1 marks Senate Square, Senaatintori in Finnish, where the Helsinki Christmas Market, also called Tuomaan Markkinat, fills the square below the steps of Helsinki Cathedral, beside the tall Christmas tree, with the food court on the east side. Distances on the map are counted from this pin.
2. Manta's Christmas Market
Pin 2 stands 0.2 km south of Senate Square on Havis Amanda Square, beside Kauppatori, the Market Square. Manta's sets its stalls around a covered ice rink there. Vanhan Joulutori, at pin 3, lies 0.6 km away as the crow flies.

3. Vanhan Joulutori Christmas Market
Pin 3 is the Old Student House, Vanha ylioppilastalo, at Mannerheimintie 3, by the railway station and 0.7 km west of Senate Square. Vanhan Joulutori is held indoors there, on two floors of the building. The Teurastamo market at pin 4 is 2.9 km off in a straight line.

4. Teurastamo Christmas Market
Pin 4 marks Teurastamo, the former Helsinki abattoir, at Työpajankatu 2 in Hermanni, 2.5 km north-east of Senate Square. The Teurastamo market spreads across the whole area, and the restaurants inside it take part. The City Museum at pin 5 lies 2.6 km from here.

5. City Museum's Holiday Market
Pin 5 is the Helsinki City Museum at Aleksanterinkatu 16, on the corner of Senate Square in the Torikorttelit blocks, just 0.1 km south of pin 1. The City Museum's market is held inside the museum building. FunDesign, at pin 6, is 2.7 km away in a straight line.

6. FunDesign Christmas Market
Pin 6 marks the Cable Factory, Kaapelitehdas in Finnish, at Kaapeliaukio 3 in Ruoholahti, 2.7 km west of Senate Square. FunDesign fills its Merikaapelihalli hall. A red ring around the pin marks entry by ticket. The Annala market, at pin 7, is 6.9 km from this spot.

7. Traditional Christmas Market at Annala
Pin 7 is the Annala villa and garden at Hämeentie 154 in Vanhakaupunki, 5.0 km north of Senate Square. The Annala market uses the villa and its garden grounds. On the map, Suomenlinna at pin 8 lies 7.6 km away from it, measured in a straight line.

8. Suomenlinna Craft and Art Christmas Market
Pin 8 marks the Suomenlinna Museum on the Suomenlinna sea fortress, an island 3.4 km south-east of Senate Square that is reached by ferry. The Suomenlinna market brings together the crafts and artworks of the island's own artisans and is still waiting for its 2026 dates, so its pin carries the dates-pending mark.

How to get between the Christmas Markets in Helsinki
Four markets on the map sit close together in the city centre: the Helsinki Christmas Market (1) on Senate Square, the City Museum's market (5) at the corner of the square, Manta's (2) 0.2 km south and Vanhan Joulutori (3) 0.7 km west. From the railway station, Vanhan Joulutori takes a couple of minutes on foot, and the Ylioppilastalo tram stop is close by. For the square itself, the organiser's information on the Senate Square market gives the dates, opening hours, carousel and food court.
In straight lines, three more lie away from the centre: the Teurastamo market (4), 2.5 km to the north-east in Hermanni, the Annala market (7) in Vanhakaupunki, 5.0 km north, and FunDesign (6) at the Cable Factory in Ruoholahti, 2.7 km west.
The Suomenlinna market (8) sits on the sea fortress, 3.4 km south-east, and a ferry ride of about 15 minutes links the island with the city centre.
