Opening times of the Christmas Markets in Paris

Season and daily times of the 14 markets on the map, with the season running from 12 Nov 2026 to 4 Jan 2027 for the markets on the map with 2026 dates so far:

• Le Sommet, the festive square at La Défense with the ice rink, runs on a weekly schedule of its own.
• La Défense's stalls close on 31 December, but Le Sommet and its ice rink remain open until 3 January.

At La Défense, the La Défense market's opening hours and exceptions list the times of the stalls and of Le Sommet, with the changes for 24, 25 and 31 December and 1 January. Times for these days have not been announced at the Notre-Dame, Tuileries or Champs-Élysées markets, though all three are in season over Christmas. La Défense trades on all three December days, its season ending on 31 December, and on 1 January Le Sommet opens by itself from 15:00 to 23:00. On the Champs-Élysées, the Préfecture de Police may order the stalls to close for the 31 December celebrations.

Of these dates, the French public holiday calendar marks 25 December and 1 January as public holidays in Paris; 26 December is one only in Alsace-Moselle, and 24 and 31 December are not holidays.

At La Défense, the stalls stay open until 23:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, and Le Sommet keeps going until 22:00 on Thursdays as well. The ice rink in Le Sommet starts at 14:00 from Monday to Wednesday and follows the square's times on the other days. Parades take place on Wednesdays from 17:30 and on Sundays from 14:30, the rink hosts ice hockey introductions on four Wednesdays, 9, 16, 23 and 30 December, from 14:00 to 15:30, and Father Christmas is at the market from 13 November to 24 December, on that final day from 14:30 to 17:30.

At the Notre-Dame market, Friday and Saturday evenings run until 21:00, and the children's drawing workshop has its soft-toy draw on Sundays at 16:30.
