Where the 4 Christmas Markets on the map are
Each numbered pin stands for one of the York Christmas Markets at its 2026 site: pins 1 and 2 share the city centre, pin 3 marks York Racecourse to the south and pin 4 marks Front Street in Acomb to the west.

1. York Christmas Market
Pin 1 covers Parliament Street and St Sampson's Square, two adjoining spaces by Pavement in the city centre that together hold one market (York YO1 8RY). The distances given for pins 2 to 4 are measured from this pin on Parliament Street, and the Guildhall lies 0.3 km to its west.

2. Yorkshire Yuletide Village
Pin 2 sits indoors in the Guildhall on Coney Street, behind the Mansion House on St Helen's Square, 0.3 km west of Parliament Street. With the York Christmas Market it makes up the pair of pins in the city centre, while pins 3 and 4 lie outside it.

3. Living North Yorkshire Christmas Fair
Pin 3 marks York Racecourse on the Knavesmire, in South Bank, 2.2 km south of Parliament Street (York YO23 1EX). Its red ring is the map's sign for a market that needs an entry ticket, and the more than 200 stands of the Living North fair are set up indoors at the racecourse.

4. Acomb Christmas Artisan Market
Pin 4 marks Front Street in Acomb, a district of York on the west side of the city, 2.8 km west of Parliament Street. The Acomb market is held on Front Street itself (York YO24 3BN), away from the two city-centre pins.

Getting to the York Christmas Markets
York Christmas Market (1) and the Yorkshire Yuletide Village (2) share the city centre, with 0.3 km in a straight line between Parliament Street and the Guildhall. South of them, the Living North fair (3) is at York Racecourse, 2.2 km from the Guildhall. The Acomb market (4) is out to the west in Acomb, 2.7 km from the racecourse. All distances are straight lines between pins, not walking routes.
York Park & Ride runs six sites around the city with electric buses into the centre, and local bus services also carry visitors to and around York; the accessibility guide to York Christmas Market lists both, along with the market address, toilets and ramps. On market days, vehicles are restricted in the city-centre footstreets, and City of York Council's footstreets page gives the footstreet hours, 10:30 to 17:00, and Blue Badge access.
For the Living North fair, the racecourse entrance is on Knavesmire Road, reached from the A1036 Tadcaster Road.
