Dublin Christmas Market opening times
Dublin Christmas Market hours vary by market. Five of the 8 markets on the map have announced their 2026 opening times, the Richmond Barracks Winter Fair has dates but no times yet, and two markets have no 2026 dates so far.
A market-by-market account of the stalls, food and attractions covers the Dublin Christmas Markets.

- TwinkleTown runs to one timetable at its Smithfield and St Patrick's Park sites.
- Santo Panto, staged at Smithfield only, plays on Fridays from 14:00 to 19:00, on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 19:00, and on 22 and 23 December as well.
- At Everwinter the ice rink is open until 22:00.
The square's own page shows the Smithfield Square opening times from TwinkleTown beside the attractions of the site, and Everwinter's opening times and visitor questions give the weekday and weekend times of the RDS event together with the rink hours.
Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year opening times in Dublin
The markets on the map are all closed on 24, 25 and 26 December. TwinkleTown in Smithfield trades again from Sunday 27 December on its usual times until Thursday 31 December, its closing day, with no special times announced. The Everwinter ice rink alone returns from 26 December to 3 January, times to be confirmed; none of the markets with announced dates is open in January.
Christmas Day and St Stephen's Day are public holidays in Ireland, as is New Year's Day; Christmas Eve and 31 December are not. St Stephen's Day falls on a Saturday in 2026, with no public holiday added on the Monday after. For 2026 and 2027, the list of public holidays in Ireland from Citizens Information gives every date.
Late openings and early closures at the Dublin Christmas Markets
Both TwinkleTown sites start an hour sooner at weekends, at 10:00 rather than 11:00, and close at 21:00 throughout.
Everwinter does not open on Mondays, so 30 November and 7, 14 and 21 December are closed days there; from Tuesday to Friday the RDS event begins at 14:00, and at weekends at 12:00.
Smithfield holds sensory-friendly skating at 11:00 on 28 November and on 2, 13 and 19 December; Everwinter's low-sensory sessions start at 14:00 on 1 and 8 December and at 15:00 on 3 December.
The Botanic Gardens and Temple Bar Square markets are still without 2026 dates or times, and the Richmond Barracks fair has not yet given its hours for 28 and 29 November. The Dublin Christmas Market dates list the opening and closing day of each dated market.
