TwinkleTown's visitor questions and answers give the dates of both of its sites, its closure over 24, 25 and 26 December and its rules for dogs and payment.
Dublin Christmas Markets, market by market

1. TwinkleTown Smithfield Square
Archetype, in partnership with Dublin City Council, runs this Christmas festival, whose craft market of huts sells jewellery, Irish knits, fashion, original art and handmade gifts by Irish makers. Santo Panto with Santa, a covered ice rink, a 33-metre Big Wheel, a vintage fairground and the Spiegeltent share the square. No entry ticket is needed: the huts stand on the open Smithfield Square. It runs from Friday 20 November to Thursday 31 December, closed 24 to 26 December.

2. TwinkleTown St Patrick's Park
TwinkleTown's second site, new to St Patrick's Park in 2026, pairs a craft market of handcrafted Irish gifts with lighting displays, the Twilight Garden and choirs on the Sing Ireland Stage. Younger visitors get a Christmas Tree Carousel and coasters, and the park has its own food and an outdoor bar. No entry ticket is needed: the stalls stand in the open park. The site is open each day from Friday 27 November to Wednesday 23 December.

3. Everwinter
Equinox Events runs Everwinter at the RDS, where wooden chalets sell candles, knitwear, jewellery, glass decorations, crafts and edible gifts from selected Irish makers, designers and producers. Robert Fossett's Circus under a big top, a covered ice rink and a vintage fairground stand alongside, with carol singers and choirs. Entry is by timed ticket, which includes live music, the food and drink areas and the market. It opens Tuesday to Sunday, from Wednesday 25 November to Wednesday 23 December.

4. Gifted Contemporary Craft & Design Fair
Gifted Fair brings craft, design and artisan food makers and producers indoors to the RDS Main Hall complex, where a Handmade in Ireland mark picks out stands of Irish handmade work. Book signings, wild-wool pom-pom workshops, the Knitted Map of Ireland and a Christmas Food Emporium fill the halls, and 2026 is The Year of Ceramics. Entry needs a ticket, bought ahead online or at the fair's box office. It lasts from Wednesday 2 to Sunday 6 December.

6. Richmond Barracks Winter Fair
Richmond Barracks in Inchicore holds its Winter Fair over two days, Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November. Craftspeople, artists, makers, small businesses and social enterprises sell seasonal crafts and products, food and drink vendors trade beside them, and the creative and cultural workshops welcome all ages.

7. Temple Bar Square Christmas Market
This market takes place on the square it is named after, south of the Liffey in Dublin 2. Nothing has been announced about its 2026 dates, and it stays on the map until they are set.

8. The Fumbally Christmas Market
The Fumbally brings its Christmas Market indoors to the Fumbally Stables for three days, from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December. Stalls rotate between food producers, artists, independent crafters and creatives, and the Fumbally café and shop stay open on all three days.
What to eat and drink at the Dublin Christmas Markets
Christmas Market food on the map differs from site to site. In Smithfield, Irish food makers serve festive favourites alongside flavours from around the world, and the TwinkleTavern pours hot chocolate, mulled wine and festive drinks. St Patrick's Park has its Christmas Grille Hut for global flavours and snacks, plus an outdoor bar with the same hot drinks. Everwinter cooks over open flames, with raclette, bratwurst and toasted favourites, vegetarian and vegan options each day, and hot chocolate and mulled wine at its bars, while Gifted's artisan producers bring chocolate, cheese and chutney for the Christmas table, with handmade Irish chocolate in focus for 2026. Food and drink vendors trade at the Richmond Barracks fair as well, alongside its craft stalls.
Christmas Markets in Dublin in November and December
For Christmas Markets in Dublin in November, TwinkleTown in Smithfield opens first of the markets with 2026 dates, on Friday 20 November. Everwinter follows on Wednesday 25 November and TwinkleTown in St Patrick's Park on Friday 27 November, while the Richmond Barracks fair takes up the weekend of 28 and 29 November.
Among the Christmas Markets in Dublin in December, Gifted fills the RDS from Wednesday 2 to Sunday 6 December and the Fumbally market runs from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December. St Patrick's Park and Everwinter both close on Wednesday 23 December, and the map has no market trading on 24, 25 or 26 December.
TwinkleTown in Smithfield is alone among the markets with 2026 dates in coming back after Christmas, up to Thursday 31 December; none of them carries on into January. Two Dublin Christmas Markets on the map, at the Botanic Gardens and on Temple Bar Square, have yet to set their 2026 dates.
