What date do the Lille Christmas Markets open?

The Lille Christmas Village opens on Place Rihour on Wednesday 18 November 2026 and keeps its chalets open until Wednesday 30 December 2026. The Fédération Lilloise du Commerce, de l'Artisanat et des Services, which runs the Village, presents both dates as provisional, so they may still move. Markets 2 and 3 on the map, in Lomme and Hellemmes, two associated communes of Lille, have no 2026 dates so far.

The Lomme Christmas Market is a Ville de Lomme event on the Parvis Yvon Delaporte, in front of Lomme town hall, avenue de la République. The Hellemmes Christmas Market belongs to the Christmas programme that the Commune d'Hellemmes puts together with its partners, in Parc François Mitterrand, beside Hellemmes town hall. Until the two communes announce their plans, the Village's opening on 18 November is the one start date known on the map.

The Christmas Village trades on each day of its season apart from Christmas Day, weekends included. The 2026 dates of markets 2 and 3 rest with the Ville de Lomme and the Commune d'Hellemmes.

Before the Christmas break, the Village is still trading on Christmas Eve, Thursday 24 December. Christmas Day interrupts the season: the Christmas Village is closed on Friday 25 December. Its chalets reopen on Saturday 26 December and stay in business until the closing day, Wednesday 30 December 2026. No market of those with announced dates runs into January 2027, so New Year's Eve and New Year's Day come after the Village has closed for the year.

Lomme and Hellemmes have no 2026 dates so far, closing days included, and neither commune has yet published a programme for this winter.
