- At the Christmas Village, food and drink chalets keep the same timetable as the craft and gift chalets.

After the 18:00 finish on Christmas Eve and the closure on Christmas Day, trading resumes on Saturday 26 December with the usual Saturday times, since no special hours are announced. An 18:00 closing on Wednesday 30 December, the Village's final day, also features in the organiser's notice for exhibitors. No market is open on 31 December or 1 January among the markets with confirmed dates.
France's public holidays in the season fall on Wednesday 11 November (Armistice Day, before the season), Friday 25 December (Christmas Day) and Friday 1 January (New Year's Day). In Lille, 26 December is an ordinary Saturday, as the second day of Christmas counts as a public holiday only in Alsace-Moselle; the French government's list of public holidays (in French) shows the 2026 and 2027 dates.
When the Lille Christmas Markets open later or close early
From Sunday to Thursday the Christmas Village welcomes visitors from 11:00 until 20:30. On Fridays and Saturdays it stays open until 22:00, an hour and a half later, with the same 11:00 start. No weekday is a closing day, so the Place Rihour market trades on Mondays and Tuesdays just as it does at weekends. On Thursday 24 December the Village closes at 18:00.
Sunday 6 December, the feast of Saint Nicholas, follows the normal Sunday pattern of 11:00 to 20:30, with no special opening times announced.
For the Lomme and Hellemmes markets, the 2026 times are not announced yet, and neither are their dates.
