What each of the 3 markets on the Lille map offers
1. Lille Christmas Village
The wooden chalets on Place Rihour sell gifts: objects worked in wood, leather or metal, posters, tableware, nativity scenes with santons (Provençal clay nativity figures), toys, puzzles, gingerbread and regional products. Food stalls, a beer chalet pouring the Village's own Christmas beer, and musical and light entertainment complete the offer. No entry ticket is needed: the chalets stand on the open Place Rihour. The Village trades between Wednesday 18 November and Wednesday 30 December and is closed on Friday 25 December.

2. Lomme Christmas Market
The Ville de Lomme, which runs the associated commune of Lomme, organises a Christmas Market by its town hall. The Lomme market is still waiting for its 2026 dates, which the commune has not announced yet.

3. Hellemmes Christmas Market
The Hellemmes market sits in Parc François Mitterrand, by the town hall of this associated commune, and belongs to the Christmas season that the Commune d'Hellemmes organises with its partners. Its dates for 2026 have not been announced so far.

Food and drink at the Christmas Markets in Lille
The food at the Lille Christmas Market on Place Rihour runs from sweet to savoury: churros, crêpes, gaufres (waffles), croustillons (Flemish fried dough balls), pain d'épices (gingerbread) and marrons (roasted chestnuts), then tartiflette, croziflette and burgers. Tartiflette is a bake of potatoes, bacon and Reblochon cheese, and croziflette is the same dish made with crozets pasta. To drink, there is vin chaud (red mulled wine), hot chocolate and other non-alcoholic drinks, and craft beers. The Village also has its own amber Christmas beer, La Chope du Père Noël. Drink stalls serve in Ecocup reusable cups.
Lille Christmas Markets in November and December
For Christmas Markets in Lille in November, the Christmas Village is the market on the map with 2026 dates so far, and its chalets open on Wednesday 18 November. Its chalets then trade on weekdays and at weekends alike, with no weekly closing day.
Among the Christmas Markets in Lille in December, the Village keeps trading on Sunday 6 December, Saint Nicholas, with no special hours announced. It closes early on Thursday 24 December, is closed on Christmas Day and has its last day on Wednesday 30 December.
Lomme's market is still waiting for its 2026 dates, and so is the one in Hellemmes.
